Does your childs daycare, preschool or school have a lot of $$$ extras?

I agree its not a good idea, but the school has to get the money from somewhere. I always pay for my kids to have those extras, and then i donate the school's fund, too. (which actually annoys me because I'm paying extra for his kindergarten which is already $25,000 a year) but what i try to remember is that it's not going to change and that the least i can do is pay for my kids.

Will two 12" Audioque Hdc copper coil subs give me more spl/bass than my single 15" Alpine Type R?? HELP!?

Want to know before i go n spend $500to$600 on a pair of 12"s. And forgot to mention im NOT concerned with SQ at all am more concerned with SPL or strictly harder slammin straight low BASS! My 15" is ran on a Kenwood Excelon 1200m monoblock amp n final impedance is 4ohms (800watts rms) but its just not enough for me anymore, so instead i want to get a pair of 12"s and wire them so i have a final impedance load of 2ohms this way i will get 1,200 watts rms instead, so if not the Audioques what two 12"s can i get that will give me more bass/SPL than my current setup?? People have suggested the following (please help me narrow it down a little)... Kicker Solobarics, Memphis C3's, Sundown, DC Underground Labs, Soundstream, Orion HCCA's, Polk Audio, Diamond, etc... PLEASE HELP! looking to be heard from far away,compltly rattle my whole car (more than it already does), feel that feeling in nose,chest,throat! Dont care if its totaly SQ/sound quality material subs i mean dont want it sloppy but not looking for JL's or any subs in the SQ category just want max BASS/SPL frim two 12"s instead of my current single 15" Alpine Type R if thats not pissible to do and my 15" will be louder than two 12"s then please tell me before i go n waste 5to600dollars!! How can i remove a name from a birth certificate?

What could i have done to my knee?

I'm a volleyball player, and I'm the libero for my team so I pretty much spend half my life diving on the ground. So I'm the past I've had some knee problems like tendonitis and I almost tore my patellar tendon also osgoodschlatters (sp.?) But they have confirmed that I out grew that. Anyway, lately when I dive onto my left knee it hurts really bad at first while I'm still on the ground then as I get up the pain is pretty severe and I can hardly support my weight on it. Then the pain travels down my leg and then my ankle hurts really bad even though I didn't do anything to it (I'm sure, I wear ankle braces). So that has happened quite a few times. Then last night the same thing happened and I went through the usual thing of pain but this time the pain didn't go away in about 20 minutes like it usually does. Most of the pain went away in time and by the end of practice I barely noticed it (that's because when I play I don't really feel pain) then after practice it hurt pretty bad and I iced it. Now the next day it doesn't hurt all too bad but sitting the I have minor barely noticeable pain but when I have my foot on the ground and I slightly twist it either way it hurts really bad. Or if I extend my leg all the way it hurts and last if I my my foot/ ankle it hurts. Oh also the pain is centered on the outside of my knee to the bottom left of my knee cap. So what could be wrong with it??

I know you said your wanting 10s but if I were you I'd go with 2 12'' American Bass Xfls. I have one hooked in my house and this thing absolutely beats hard as hell on lows on about half power. I got it in a 3 cubic ft slot ported box tuned to 30Hz. It slams songs that go down to 24Hz. Not that many people own American Bass but lemme tell you they are one hell of a brand. My sub is still very stiff after playing test tones from 26Hz to 20Hz on it. Luckily I'm getting a new amp to power it so its even gonna be even louder. It already rattles the walls in my house and the clock in my room. I give my XFL a 10/10

The dream could very likely be pits and pieces of lost memories, or your conscience telling you that something was wrong with the situation. A parent, or if your not comfortable with that, a counselor or therapist could be a good listener in helping you sort through the memories.

boston acoustics or rockford both of these companies are well known for both spl and sq i prefer rockford myself as they stay cool under pressure and are more power than rated on box unlike most which are rated on box for the 1 sec power it can get in perfect condition. kicker amps are not known for sq and are not very reliable in my experiences i have seen several people come through with burned up kicker amps and had it happen to me as well, and it happened under low load low volume conditions as well install was done right on all but 1 i have seen blow including mine (done right) so my pick as an audiophile/installer is rockford and a close seconf boston never kicker for amps, the vr series subs are decent though

There's a number of decent SQ/SPL subs in that price range. JL is pretty tried-and-true in the SQ/SPL market. I like those SSA's though...they have a treated-paper cone which typically gives you good SQ (I have found treated-paper and woven-fiberglass to sound the best) AND they're made in the USA. If I was looking to get a couple of fairly inexpensive 10's I think I would give those SSA's a try.

What is wrong with my 03 Dodge Neon?

I bought this car about 2-3 years ago and it currently has 142700 miles on it. A few months after I got it, I noticed it would occasionally lurch when I accelerated, but it wasn't happening often enough for me to really worry about it. Over the past month the problem has gotten significantly worse to where my car will lurch when I'm going from a stop to accelerating, accelerating while already going, or even slowing down at times. I have also noticed that my speedometer is flipping out-sometimes I will be at a dead stop (0) and accelerate and the speedometer won't move when I'm obviously going. After a few seconds it will shoot up to 40-50 when I'm only going at max 15-20 mph. At times the lurching and speedometer problems happen at the same time, and other times separately so I'm not sure if they are related or not. We have guessed that it is maybe a speed sensor but I'm hoping there is someone out there whose passion is cars and can either confirm or correct this guess. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, guys!

Anyone Suffering from Chronic Hives?

This is actually going to be some advice for those people who have suffered with chronic hives for a long time. I had (idiopathic urticaria) hives with no known cause for over 2 years. I lived off of antihistimines and steroids(medrol dose packs and prednisone) and was in and out of the emergency room when I had outbreaks all over my body. I had been given the run around by all types of drs. And I was even given meds for what they believed was a stress disorder. I even had a blood test done for allergies but everything came back fine. I was unable to get the skin test because they ask you to come off of your medications for like a week before the test. And there was no way i could. I had to work and go to school. If i did that I'd look like a monster. But I eventually found a good ENDOCHRINOLOGIST and they found that i have hyperthyroidism/GRAVES DISEASE and the way that my body reacted to the disruption in my thyroid function was externally through hives. I had a blood test at this physicians office and they confirmed that the thyroid levels were too high and put me on Methimazole to help slow down thyroid hormone production. I slowly took myself off of the antihistimines and am taking only the methimazole now. I have been taking the medicine only a month or so and feel much better in some ways. I still feel tired and have a very hard time keeping weight on, but at this point i am not having to worry about hives. I just hope that someone who has the same problem will read this and find some hope here. Don't let a dr tell you that nothing is wrong with you. You know your body best and you know when something is wrong. I went through countless dr's and missed opportunities because of what I was suffering with, with no answers. Dont lose hope and keep looking until you get help.

I just watched the show, and i have seen it before but i never really put a lot of thought into it before now. How do you feel about it? I think that it is good and bed. First off it is NOT ok what they make these girls think. They make them think that looks is everything, and it makes my skin crawl. But, if my daughter wanted to be in pageants i would let her. how much diff would it make in the spl ?? i have 1200 rms of 2 subs together powerd by two mono 600 rms amps eachh..but my sub enclosure turned out to be too big for my trunk..i went to my car audio dealer one guy said sealed would be better option for my trunk and the other guy said vented would be gud..im confused noww..which one you think i should buy ?? i want both gud spl and sq in smaller space..trunk is'nt that big sadly :(

Ok so theres something in my district called Parent Portal. Parents can sign in to see their childs grades. So I went into parent portal because it seemed like alot of people knew their regents grades already, and the report card hasnt come out yet. So I went on and it showed me my grade average for quarter 4 and then it said 'Y1' and some grades were beneath it. What does Y1 stand for? Is that my regents grades?

If she is 3 she is old enough to understand "use your indoor voice" I have always just said in a low tone while putting a finger to my lips "shh, use your indoor voice" I wouldn't cover their mouth as it would probably provoke a feeling of anger from the child and I think my way is more effective and teaches them in a better way. It teaches them yes, they can talk just more softly than they are now. Your way would seem to suggest they aren't allowed to talk at all and isn't appropriate.

I like my best guy friend?

So the guy i like just came to our school at the very beginning of the year. When I first saw him, I thought he was really cute and I liked him. But I thought that i should just kinda forget about it because he was REALLY quiet and seemed stuck up.(Sounds cheesy, I know) So at lunch my friends and I would try to sit near his table just to be near him...even though i still didn't know him. At the beginning of the 2nd semester, he moved into my social studies class and sat right in front of me. I was so happy...but he still never talked at all. Not even for the teacher. So i'd try striking up a conversation with him but he would kinda just listen and walk away at the end. Now we were in the same summer health/pe class and he's friends with my friend...so we talked. And he's such a sweet person and everything seemed to work out perfectly. I didn't even know him and my friend were great friends. Anyway, I still like him. And I'm just acting as a sister to him and he's like a brother to me. But I like him more than as a brother/good friend. I don't want to ruin the friendship, but I don't want to miss out on a chance. Sometimes he acts like he likes me, and sometimes he acts like a brother. My friend said that he started assuming that I like him...but i didn't want to confirm it or deny it. So now he invited me and my friend to the movies with him. And we're all going (as friends) but I still like him. Again - Cheesy moment! - I kinda like imaging that him and i are walking around the mall holding hands or going to movies together...and now it's all here in a few days. Should i divorce my drug addicted husband of only 7 months?

My husband and i met approx 4 years ago. He has a ten yr history of drug abuse and jail time. We had so many ups and down because of his drug abuse. I felt i knew "the real him" but i was wrong. i believed the real him was this amazing amazing caring loving generous man who could do no wrong in my eyes and who loved me unconditionally. But his addiction overtook him. And this last time he depleated our unborn childs account (i was 5 months pregnant at the time with our first) and when i confronted him he threw things. shattered them. and tackled me to the floor sitting on me and screaming in my face. i knew he had been using the past couple of weeks and i tried to get him to talk to me, to go to meetings to call his counseler but hed lie and lie and lie and i felt so worthless and so beat down from all the previous times i guess i threw my hands up. It wasnt until he tackled me to the floor did i decide enough was enough. (i misscarried our first child and was a high risk pregnancy this time) he left for work and i packed up and flew to tx to my family. he went thru a binge and is now telling me he wants me and his child in his life. hell do anything. and if i cared at all i wouldnt take away his chance at being there when shes born. if i cared at all i would leave my family and go back to him to work through this because after all we are married. for better or for worse, (my family does not like him, they said if i go back i am cut out of their lives forever because they can not watch me and their grandchild go down because of a drug addict) i understand we are married. and i love him with all my heart. and during our 4 years iv provided him with everything he needed to get clean and stay clean. i tried doing what all the books and internet blogs say to do. I dont know why i even married him knowing deep down hed continue to relapse. I know he is a very very good manipulater and is good at telling me what i want to hear, he knows what to say to bring me back to him. part of me wants to believe he has changed for good this time. but the better part of me says hell never change. and if he cared at all for me and his child he would have utilized all his resources and tried harder to stay clean, he would chose to tell the truth instead of chosing to tell a lie. he wouldnt have spent all the baby money. he wouldnt have tackled me to the floor. I know an addict addiction is an overwhelming thing for them and they lose themselves in it and the best thing for an addict is love and support.. but when is enough enough.. when do i stop jepardizing my life and the life of my unborn for him? I believe he wants to be the man knows he is sober.. but i dont think hes ready to give up his addiction, or he is until he gets stressed out or i give in to what he wants. i dont believe in divorce, but i dont believe in having my child grow up in that environment more...

honestly, if you really want power dont worry about the brands that charge dollar per watt. the real underground/ competitors dont all use the high dollar brands but brands like audiobahn, boss, some real cheapos even use pyle, but all in all, the more you spend you are more than likely buying the name, not the output. i currently have a boss audio ph 5000d does 5k watts at 1 ohm and only paid 150 for it and its pushing my 2 lanzar opti1533d's just fine. my subs are 6k max and 3k rms so like i said, dont buy brands that are dollar per watt, cuz if i did, then i would be spending my yearly salary on a car system

Should i get 2 Zx1000.1 mono amps for 2 12's mtx square subs?

I would assume those are MTX Thunder squares, In which case each once runs 600 RMS a piece. If you want to run them properly all you will need is 1200 watts. If you wan't to run them properly why not get the amplifier that was built by MTX to run them. The MTX RFL1200D, Makes 1200 watts RMS at 1 ohm (this is of course assuming your subwoofers are dual 4 ohms that parallel down to 2 ohms and once wired with each other create a 1 ohm load). I have this amp and its a complete monster for what it is (mine bench tested at over 1700), plus you can pick it up for 290 bucks at sonic electronix and they are an authorized MTX dealer. We really need to know before we can be certain on what to get what the real impedence of the subwoofer is. The MTX thunder square is a dual voice coil subwoofer and it comes in 2 ohm and 4 ohm versions. You said the subwoofers you have are 2 ohm, we need to know if each voice coil is 2 ohm or if the subwoofer is 2 ohm after its wired in parallel.

Need Advice...what to do bout her pregnancy?

My cousin is currently pregnant. She says she is due August 5th, but none of us really know since she lies bout everything. Now heres my problem... She is taking pain meds. She started out taking Hydros then moved up to Moraphin... I am very concerned for the baby. Also none of us know if she has a doctor. The only time she was gave an ultrasound was when my aunt took her which was her first appt and by the time she was already 5 months pregnant but dont think she has went back since. I have talked to her husband bout it, but he buys her the drugs cause he doesnt want her in pain. I spoke to her and says if she doesnt have them the baby will stretch her stomach to far and she will die. She is planning to go off all medicines in July except hydros which she got prescribed recently(due to "extreme" pain) and take home drug test to make sure its out of her system so they cant take the baby, but I am worried bout the childs health. Is there anything I can do? Btw this is her first child and she is 19 years old.
