Help with financial aid please!!?

Actually it doesn't matter WHO you live with, the government doesn't consider you an "independant" student until you reach the age of 24.Otherwise you have to report both of your parent's income unless you were legally emancipated. I personally waited until I was 24 to do this because both of may parents are remarried and I was told I had to include my step paren'ts income too which isn't fair to them!
