How do you feel about toddlers and tiaras?

I just watched the show, and i have seen it before but i never really put a lot of thought into it before now. How do you feel about it? I think that it is good and bed. First off it is NOT ok what they make these girls think. They make them think that looks is everything, and it makes my skin crawl. But, if my daughter wanted to be in pageants i would let her. I feel like some parents force it on their child ( eden wood's mom) and some dont ( mackizie's mom) I think eden wood is a brat and so is her mom. She cried for not winning the ultimate title, when she won the supreme title! When some people won NOTHING she won everything in her age group and the supreme title! She is very ungrateful in my opinion. However, I feel like i would let my daughter compete if it is what she wanted. There is a very fine line between forcing your child to do something and them wanting to do it. If it's your childs dream to compete then don't stand in there way, but keep them grounded and make sure they understand that winning isnt everything, neither are looks. I'm very in between on this show, i used to watch it to make fun of how redicilious the people acted, but now im thinking about how cruel the show can be. How do you feel about it?
