Wuld I notice aBIGdifference in buildin a bandpass box for my15"AlpineTypeR opposed to the ported box its in?

And if so would it also extend my subs life a little due to me not having to crank it as high as I do now in the ported box? I mean trust me its pretty damn loud but im an extreme bass head and nothing is ever enough for me so im looking to get all the BASS/SPL I can get rnow working with what I got while im saving up to upgrade soon.. Not concerned that much with accuracy or sound quality as I a am loudness n spl..i And also if the bandpass will get more db's/harder hitting low bass can someone PLEASE send me a link or info on a diagram of EXACTKY how to build a bandpass enclosure that is geared towards/will fit and be "optimal for my single Alpine 15" type R dual 2ohm sub..
