Whatever happened to the kids that played in old horror movies?

For the horror movie fans, do you have any ideas what happened to the child actors that played victims in horror movies?? like in that horror classic the shining the boy who acted as Danny was just in that movie but no other movie.. and that movie Childs play, the boy who plays Andy never did movies again.... Is it because they are trying to do something else other than acting?? because thats probably the only thing ppl will remember them from is a movie lol...
