Jl audio's 3 10' w6 or 2 12'w6 which one sound better both in sq and spl?

which of these subs will sound better - 3 10'' w6 or 2 12' w6 i want both spl and sq.. should i go ported or sealed with them ?? and my second questions is which Jl amps would be perfect for that set up ??
