When did "black names"originate?

Names like Myeshia,Jasmine,Tamika,Shaniqua,Devante.… saw 60 ghetto names that was funny and I cant understand how can a black people can sit in the hospital and think of Deonte as their childs name.This was suppose to start like 40 years ago cause Mary J Blige has "Mary" which is an old name but after that the ghetto names started.Its just blacks and whites had the same name like 50 years ago 'Barbara" could be for either a white or black girls.
