Can my childs father, whom I was never married to prevent my boyfriend from moving in with me and my daughter?

Can my childs father, whom I was never married to prevent my boyfriend from moving in with me? My boyfriend has no criminal record of any kind and is no danger to my child or myself. We currently share custody of our child and no support is paid on either side. I live in Florida and am not sure of the laws regarding this.
